Real Ales, Beers, Wine and Spirits

The White Horse really is a local and as such has to maintain quality standards that ensure our "Villagers" are always happy - ever lived in a village !!

As landlord Dean takes personal responsibility for the cellar and is justifiably proud to have been awarded the Cask Marque for two consecutive years. Cask Marque Trust is an independent organisation, which awards the Cask Marque plaque to pubs that serve The Perfect Pint.

As part of the Greene King estate our regular ale is Greene King IPA, which is always accompanied by at least one, but more often two, guest beers. These vary from week to week - as an example we have served Old Speckled Hen, Adnams Broadside, Charles Wells Bombardier, Everards Tiger, Brains SA and the list goes on. Not only has the quality of the ale been recognised by Cask Marque, Dean's efforts have also been rewarded with an entry in The Good Beer Guide.

Other draught beers/lagers include Fosters, Krononberg, Carlsberg, Strongbow and Guinness.

A wide selection of wines and spirits are also available. Wine is served either by the bottle or by the glass. To view our wine list click here.
